Stage di Danza e Commedia dell’Arte "Tra Danze, Maschere e Lazzi"

Three weekend workshops in Commedia dell'Arte (one in november 2009, one in march 2010 and one in May, organized jointly by Il Teatro della Memoria and Ondadurto Teatro. Each workshop has a duration of 15 hours for a maximum of 20 students. It's possible to attend only one of the three workshops.

Approach to Semimasks
Capitano, Pantalone, Brighella, Zanni, Zagna.

Approach to characters without mask
Signora, Servetta, Infarinato.

Themes and construction of lazzi
- individual sequences of characters
- relationships between semimasks
- themes: hunger, death, love, war
- The canovaccio
- improvised comedy
