Rather than to dance this note relates to costuming. I would like to talk about Bjarne from Denmark. He is a costume designer who's passion is the 18th century clothing.
I know Bjarne from the Lumières Group. Some years ago, he made a beautiful robe à panier in orange taffeta for my wife. All the development steps from the stays, the hoop skirt, the underdress to the final dress were documented in a dress diary on his website. My wife and me were very curious to follow the work.
During the years he created numerous costumes. I like his accuracy and his perfection. And i like the opulence of his costumes. Just recently, he has finished another creation. Take a look the nice pictures:
