Feuillet repertory and improvisation, two weekends in November/December 2010
This is a course aiming at students with a good dance technique, who are well acquainted with the baroque dance repertory and have a basic knowledge in reading Feuillet notation.
The course takes place in two successive weekends. During the first part we will work on a Feuillet repertory dance: La Bourgogne by Pécour from 1709. During the second part, we will work on the same dance forms as those in La Bourgogne - courante, bourrée, sarabande and passepied - and use improvisation as a tool to explore the characteristics of these dance forms. You can also choose to register for only one weekend.
Time: 27-28 November at 10-13 and 4-5 December at 10-13
Place: Kulturskolans Hus, Mariebergsgatan 34, metro station Fridhemsplan, Stockholm
Price: 850 SEK for both, or 500 SEK for only one weekend
