Norwich and Cambridge Early Dance Weekend

This is a practical course in 15th century Italian dance, and is intended for those who are already acquainted with this period of dancing. The emphasis will be on style and presentation. The course is organised by Norwich Early Dance Group in collaboration with the Capriol Society. The tutor will be Véronique Daniels who has specialised in the Renaissance period of dance and music , principally Italian and French.

Culford School is set in beautiful grounds 4 miles from Bury St Edmunds. The course is residential and will run from registration at 5.30pm on Friday 10th February to 4.00 pm on Sunday 12th February. Saturday afternoon will be free. Participants will need shoes with flexible soles. E.g. Greek sandals, jazz shoes; but not rubber heels or soles.

The course is limited to 27 participants therefore early booking is advised. The course fee is £175 per person which includes full board, tuition and accommodation in single rooms or double rooms for couples. To book a place, please send payment and the attached form to Gillian Ward by 30th November 2011. This includes a non -returnable £30 deposit: the balance will be refunded on cancellations prior to the 1st January 2012. Thereafter refunds will depend on all course places being filled.
