The Dance of Bell'Italia
The Cultural Association "Society of Dance" and the Superintendence of Naples BAPSAE present a 19th century ball,
whose purpose is to revive and enhance the architectural monuments through a historical reconstruction of the events that once took place there.
The event, which takes place in major Italian cities, provides for the city of Naples the reconstruction of the nineteenth-century in the Grand Ball Room with quadrille, figured waltz, contredanses and marches, that will be executed in the Historical Diplomatic Hall, rich in frescoes and antique furniture.
Several dancers of the Società di Danza coming from all over Italy (Torino, Milano, Roma, Bologna, Modena, Ferrara, Pisa, Livorno, Apulia, Salerno and Naples) perform 19th century social dance.
The ball is free for visitors to the Museum, and starts at 15.00.
