Planning a C18 Minuet Workshop in Western Connecticut, USA...

C18 dance and music scholar Fran Hendrickson will be leading an introductory workshop in or around Danbury CT, later this year.

Fran will give an introduction to the period and the dance, and then lead a workshop suitable for beginners. The workshop will run 60-90 minutes (depending on venue), with a brief break at the midpoint.

Here is a video featuring Fran's band, showing the style of dance that will be taught.

Anyone interested in attending please contact me Allie @ Analogue Chic . com to receive updates and details when the planning is set.

Anyone with space in the area suitable for dancing, and perhaps a kitchenette, please contact me with booking and rental info. A sprung floor is our first choice, but any hard floor with enough space for 4-10 people would be  wonderful.

We are also looking for funding or grant info, so please get in touch!

Let's bring social dancing back to Western CT! Please pass it on!
