If you have ever wanted to be a part of the many forms of social and theatrical dance that existed in the world during the Baroque period, this is the course for you. The term Baroque Dance is often used in reference to the French noble dance style and technique of the late 17th and early 18th-centuries.
Historical and baroque dance workshop will include Historical dance, or early dance which embraced social dancing of the courts and ballrooms of Europe, and choreography from theatre and court entertainment. The periods covered range from the fifteenth century to the nineteenth. Within this span, periods are often identified by titles, such as:
- Renaissance dance (in England, Elizabethan dance and Tudor dance)
- Baroque dance
The cost is 900 euros for the workshop and accommodation in an apartment in Florence.
- Course schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Accommodation: Participants will stay in furnished apartments in Florence with wi-fi and air conditioning. Apartments will be available from June 2-8, 2013.
- Language: The course will be taught in English.

Marco has worked in different dance companies throughout the world. He has spent years studying Baroque and Renaissance dance in various countries.
