Halsway Manor is a grand old Somerset manor house in the heart of the Quantock Hills. We are a charity that gets people involved in the folk arts through our programme of residential courses, events and activities including many kinds of folk dance, folk song, musical instrument-specific and mixed-instrument courses, folk summer schools / camps for all ages and abilities, plus development opportunities for young people.
Halsway Manor offers great value for money with friendly and supportive staff, good home cooked food (all dietary needs catered for), a bar, 27 bedrooms (65 beds) and camping in 6 acres of beautiful gardens. There’s a unique folk library containing thousands of books and records for you to immerse yourself in. We’re close to the sea and to the Exmoor National Park and only 20 minutes from the M5 (J24 & J25) with good public transport links.
