Tickets cost £75 until the 21st December 2014 after which £80.

 

Our Ball is to mark the 200th anniversary of The Duchess of Richmond's Ball held on the 15th June 1815 in Brussels prior to the battle of Waterloo.

 

The Dance Programme for the Ball is designed to be suitable for beginners &experienced dancers alike but there will be a dance workshop held in the afternoon prior to the Ball which is highly recommended should you wish to practice before the Ball.

 

Dances researched from extant 1815 & regimental archives.

 

Dress for the Ball is Regency period attire & flat shoes.

 

What’s included:

 

  • entry to the Duchess of Richmond's Ball on the 9th May 2015 at the historic Assembly Rooms (ballroom, card room, octagon, tea rooms all accessible)
  • afternoon workshop entrance (if requested)
  • Ball welcome drink
  • Ball two-course Regency supper
  • Entertainments during the Ball - Dancing, Card Tables, a Silhouette Artist & performances by the Jane Austen Dancers
  • Proceeds to ‘Help For Heroes’

 

An official photographer and videographer will be present at the Ball and there will be opportunities for portraits and group photographs during the course of the evening (additional cost).
