The 32nd EDC Festival comes to Bath, a World Heritage site, famed internationally for its Roman and Georgian past.

Friday: the Festival begins with a light supper at 7:45 pm after which Heather Toomer, the well-known lace historian, will present an exhibition entitled “Lace for the Ball: 1600 onwards” illustrating the development of lace through the centuries. A wide selection of examples from Heather’s extensive collection will be on display.

Saturday: the morning will, as usual, be taken up with rehearsals by all the performing groups.

The afternoon will begin with the AGM at 1.15pm – please come and make your contribution to the running and development of your society. The Festival itself will follow on at 2.00 – 5.45. As well as group and solo demonstrations, there will, of course, be the customary three sessions of general dancing.

Tables will again be available for those who wish to sell their products, and these must be booked in advance, at fee of £6.00 per table payable when booking..
The Evening Party starts with a buffet supper at 6.45 pm, followed by an evening of general dancing called by Sue Horsham, with music provided again by Stradivarious.
