For those who have never been to our Regency Weekend before, here is an outline of the weekend's activities. I cannot confirm venues at this early stage except for the ball at Palazzo Manresa, information on which is attached.
Friday usually starts with a visit to a vineyard and wine-tasting with finger food. In the evening there will be the dance workshop (5-8pm) followed by supper.
Saturday morning we will have a costumed visit followed by lunch. We will return to Valletta to have a rest and get ready for the ball, which will be in the beautiful Refectory of Palazzo Manresa. Music by our string quartet, Cuerdas. Sally Petchey will be our caller and there will be finger food, wine and soft drinks.
Sunday we usually have a more relaxed costumed tea dance; sometimes including lunch, sometimes just tea and supper. There will be dancing, games and activities. We are in the process of securing a venue for this at present. We usually finish between 7 and 8p.m.
Most people prefer to stay in Valletta; the meeting place to board coaches to the various venues is the Phoenicia Hotel.
We make every effort to look after you during the weekend and to ensure that you enjoy yourselves. More detailed information soon.
Please advise me if you would rather not receive information about our events.
