Online Conference - Mapping Dance and Dance Teaching: Past(s), Present, and Future(s)

Hosted by the Royal Academy of Dance’s Faculty of Education, the international online conference Mapping Dance and Dance Teaching: Past(s), Present and Future(s) will bring together practitioners, teachers, educators and researchers to debate and interrogate the past, present and future of dance and teaching. As a leader in dance education and training, and with a track record in delivering pioneering conferences in London (2009, 2013), Sydney, (2016), Brisbane (2018) and Melbourne (2020), the Royal Academy of Dance continues its legacy of bringing together stakeholders from the fields of dance performance, dance education, dance training and associated interdisciplinary domains.

Conference Programme

We are thrilled to be able to share the full programme, with details of the speakers, panels and workshops that will provide the platform for discussions at the conference. See the full programme here.

Online platform

The 2021 conference has been reimagined to be delivered online so that attendees can join us from anywhere in the world. To deliver the conference we are partnering with Forumm, a virtual event platform that will encapsulate all of the look and feel of an in-person conference, and bring delegates and presenters together through the use of chat functions and online networking rooms. Please note, the conference will not be recorded for later access. If you are booking outside of the UK, please check your time zone against BST (British Summer Time).
