Summer Academy of Hartig Ensemble (SAHE) is a meeting of all people interested in early dance under the tutorship of dancers, who practice early dance on professional level and have dance pedagogy diploma. SAHE course is both for beginners, who have never encountered this type of dancing as well as for more experienced dancers and professionals, who can accomplish themselves and are welcome for masterclasses.
When: August 1-5, 2021 (the arrival is on Sunday afternoon (August 1), we will begin dancing in the evening, the departure is on Thursday evening (August 5), or on Friday (August 6) in morning hours.
Where: Český Krumlov Castle, Czech Republic, Study Centre
Theme: „Dancing through the Ages“ (see bellow).
Programm of this dance week is focused on English Country Dances (John Playford and his books Dancing Master), Baroque Dance, Spanish Dances from ballet repertoire. The course is complemented Rhytm class (also castanets), morning warm-up and evening stretching. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in the dance performance, which will take place on Thursday (August 5). Rehearsals for interested for the performance will take place in the evenings.
Course Fee: 3 200 CZK (150 EU), comprises also the tour of the Baroque Theatre.
Accomodation: is possible in twin-bed rooms (each room with own shower and WC, el. kettle and fridge) in Study Centre (reservation and payment through us – Hartig Ensemble z.s.) or on your own in the town. As Český Krumlov is a very popular tourist destination, please make your reservation as soon as possible.
Accomodation fee for Study Centre: 450 CZK (20 EU) /person/night (our special course discount).
Meals: on your own in nearby restaurants, in the Study Centre there is a furnished kitchen for preparation of simple meals.
The price of the course does not include insurance (accident, travel)
