Early Dance Circle Biennial Conference

The Early Dance Circle’s Biennial Conference will be held at St Katharine's Parmoor on 8-10 May 2026. St. Katharine’s, the former home of King Zog of Albania, is a lovely old country mansion in Buckinghamshire, with comfortable rooms, and a very suitable venue for our conference. It’s fully residential, in a lovely building with extensive grounds to wander in, including a walled vegetable garden. It would be very nice to see you all at the Conference, and if possible, for you to offer a paper for the conference. However, even if you don’t feel like offering a paper, do think of coming along. The conference is a gathering of lovers of early dance, who want to learn more, but also enjoy each other’s company in a friendly and relaxed setting. Everyone who loves historical dance and would like to know more about it is very welcome. There will be informal dancing on the Saturday evening, and workshops on specific topics throughout the conference.
