In june 2005 i had the pleasure to participate in the Lumières Event at Schloss Amerdingen. It was placed under motto "Country pleasures in the 18th century". It was a gathering of about 40 people who love the elegance and beauty of 18th century noble life.
The last weekend in june 2005 was very hot. So we suffered a little bit, especially when wearing our big costumes.
I had my cameras with me and tried to catch some nice impressions. Especially dance is more interesting to see as video than on photos. This weekend, i finished the project to create a film from the material. I had to cut the film into three parts because of some restrictions from Youtube.
The film starts by giving some impressions of the location and the costumers in their beautiful costumes. It shows the depart of a coach. Later in the evening i filmed the dance crash course for the Polonaise and Playford dances. Finally, i catched some glances at the soirée and the evening bal showing the results of the dancing crash course and some performances such as a Minuett and La Folie d'Espagne.

Of course, i had my photo and video camera ready...
The location was a beautiful place: the romantic castle is owned by the family Stauffenberg. It is located on the country side of Bayrisch-Schwaben and it's sourrounded by wide open countryside and small forests. The last weekend in june 2005 was very hot.
