The ensemble Capriole was formed in 1983; three women with a love of early music and period costume and a wish to bring their own brand of joie de vivre to the performance of Medival and Renaissance music. Capriole and A Companye of Strangers perform Early Dance in sumptuous costumes of silks and velvets.

The dancing group Coranto Early Dance & Music specialises in performances of period dance and music. It promotes excellence of demonstration, authenticity of style and increased awareness of this important aspect of history in three distinct areas: concerts, workshops and lecture demonstrations.

The group Hortus Gratiae was formed in 1994 from members of the choreographer Jaroslava Spackova's ballet and dance school and started to practice historical dance.

The ensemble studies and performs historical dances. Founded in September 2000 under the guidance of Doc. Eva Kröschlová. Focuses on reconstructing authentic choreographies of early and late Renaissance dance masters.
