In September 2004 i filmed a performance of Teatro Arcimboldo in Basle/Switzerland. The "Meerestrompettist" was a Baroque Dance Theatre production that illustrated the exciting and colourful life of the musician Jean-Baptiste Prin, who was a famous player of the "Trompette marin".
The performance combines text recitals, french baroque music by Marais, Lully, Prin and Rameau, elements of Commedia dell'Arte and a lot of baroque dances - all arranged in colourful scenes.
