Deux danseurs-comédiens, Irène Feste et Pierre-François Dollé, accompagnés par deux musiciens, Magali Boyer et Anibal Sierra, vous invitent à un voyage décalé, extravagant, abracadabrantesque !
Alors qu'un spectacle s'annule voilà nos artistes confrontés à devoir trouver une idée nouvelle... Grâce à un objet magique, ils vont créer au fur et à mesure de leur découverte une Comédie Ballet... un ballet comique... une comédie musicale baroque !

Mit historischem Tanzboden. Tanzmeister Peter Hoffmann präsentiert historische Tänze zum Mitmachen für jedermann.
Quadrille der markgräflichen Reiterei, Gaukler, Kindertheater, Mit-mach-Aktionen. Führungen, Zauberer, barocke Musik, Kutschenfahrten, Tanz sowie Speis und Trank aus galanten Säculum.

Der ursprüngliche Volkstanz aus dem Friaul (daher der Name: friulana - furlana - forlana) wurde gegen Ende des 17. Jh. vom Komponisten André Campra am französischen Hof eingeführt und sofort begeistert aufgenommen - das Thema "Venedig" war in Paris damals en vogue.

Musik und Choreographie zu unserer Forlana finden sich bei Louis Pécour (1700).
Campra verwendete diese Melodie 1697 in seiner Ballettoper L'Europe galante.

Dieser Workshop kann ohne Partner besucht werden.

On April 28, 2012 you are cordially invited to dine in the beautiful Neoclassical Rooms of the Hodshon House along the river Spaarne in Haarlem. After dinner you can join a dance evening in the Neo-Gothic Aula. If you cannot dance, do not worry as the steps will be taught on the spot. You can also drink a cup of tea and find entertainment in the various rooms. We request the pleasure of your company, well dressed in the style of 1812.

are at intermediate level, in the style and technique of the period.
