LETIZIA DRADI took her first steps in ancient dance in 1992. She studied Palaeography and Musical Philology at the University of Cremona, Italy, blending research on dance and musical studies.

She has gone on stage with the New York Dance Company of C. Turocy in The Pleasure of the Dance and in The Temple of Glory at Jarvis Theater in Napa, California. As a specialist in 18th-century Italian dances, she has choreographed Sellitto’s Drusilla and Don Strabone intermissions and Hasse’s La Contadina for La Petite Bande directed by S. Kujiken.

Inizia a lavorare nel 1987 con la danza contemporanea, Martha Graham vedendolo ballare una sua coreo-grafia Primitive Misteryes, gli da una borsa di studio per studiare con la sua compagnia. Lavora con la compagnia Imago Lab di Simona Bucci nello spettacolo Ponti d’Acqua al teatro Romano di Fiesole. Nel frattempo lavora come danzatore e mimo in numerose opere al teatro Comunale di Firenze, di Bologna, di Bassano e Martina Franca, lavorando con registi come Graham Vich, Luca Ronconi, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Franco Ripa di Meana, Lorenzo Mariani, Derek Jarman, ecc..
