The Saint-Petersburg Historical Dance Club is a successor of many dancing communities of Saint-Petersburg. The club deals not only with mastering and recreating dances, studying the etiquette, history, cultural history and preparing stage performances, but also with learning the history of costume, organizing balls, performing shows and master-classes in other cities.

Alan Davies unterrichtet in mehreren Ländern Europas. Mit der speziellen Form englischer Gruppentänze befasst er sich schon seit mehreren Jahrzehnten, ist selbst Choreograf und organisiert in England seit Jahren Fortbildungen und längere Summer-Schools zur Pflege englischer Country Dances. Bei unserem Anglo Weekend wird er auch aus seinem im Oktober 2008 veröffentlichten Buch (mit CD) „English Dance Today“ unterrichten.
