Susanna Rühling, Archäologin M.A.

After her first study and graduation in engineering she began a study in archaeology and art history in Mainz and Bonn and became archaeologist.
Beside her studies she began researches on ancient music and instruments.
Her thesis was about archaeological finds of roman panflutes north of the Alps.
As a manager of a well-known record-company for historical and folk music she has been involved in dozens of recordings dealing with old music, sounds and instruments.
One of her projects is the ensemble “Musica Romana” that has been performing ancient Greek and Roman music in museums, universities and concert-halls all over Europe and made several recordings for sound carries, movies and exhibitions. The group received a great attendance in the international press and their music even has been published in didactic materials for schools and universities.
