Puskin is not at home - Grand Ball

On the occasion of the presentation of a new edition of the poems of Puskin "Il servigio delle muse non soffre frivolezza", curated by the State Library of Foreign Literature in Moscow and presented for the first time in Florence, the atmosphere of the St. Petersburgh Ball will be re-created in the Granducal Ballroom of a magnificient Villa just outside the city gate of Florence.
Music, dancing and costumes of the year of Tchaikovsky's premiere of "Eugen Onegin" in 1879 will be the theme. The programme of dances of the period, waltzers, polkas, mazurkas, galops and quadrilles, will be directed and choreographed by M° Donald Francis, historical dance expert and Director of Atelier de Danse. During the evening a traditional Russian cocktail will be organized.
A list of the dances on the programme will be made available well before the ball.

Grand Ball (waltzers, polkas, mazurkas, galops and quadrilles) in the Granducal Ballroom of a magnificient Villa will be directed and choreographed by M° Donald Francis.
During the Grand Ball a new edition of the poems of Aleksandr Puskin will be presented.
Russian buffet will be served.

October 25th at 16.00

Afternoon dancing and refreshment in ancient Villa in the surroundings of Florence.
