Simona Cavaliere has many years of experience in Italian Renaissance Dance, has trained with the major experts of Early Dance such as Bruna Gondoni, Marco bendoni and Cecilia Gracio Moura both in Italy and in France: she has performed extensively both in Florence (her home town) and in UK.
She offers structured classes that will provide the foundation of skills, steps and style according to the dance notation from the Italian sources of the time. Through her workshops you'll be able to experience how the nobles in Venice would have indulged in Masquerade Balls during the Carnival, whilst Lorenzo the Magnificent, Prince of Florence, would have hosted the triumphal processions and the allegorical dances celebrating the visit of Pope Pio II in 1459!
