Questions of cultural identity, social structure and status, the body politic at play.

This conference will be of interest to dancers and historical dance researchers and also to costume designers, historians, musicians and drama students.

Over this weekend, a varied programme of papers, performances and workshops will explore some of the ways our dance heritage intersects with social life, looking at different centuries and countries.

The castle is ours for the weekend. Come and enjoy a great residence, spanning every century we dance.
