So paradox es klingen mag: Die Arbeit mit historischen Theatertechniken gehört zu den modernen Entwicklungen auf dem Theater. Der musikalischen Aufführungspraxis folgend, ist im letzten Jahrzehnt die Zahl „historisch informierter“ und „historisch inspirierter“ Aufführungen stetig gestiegen. Der stilistisch genaue Einsatz von Körperbewegungen, Sprache und Bild wird dabei zunehmend als Chance erkannt, zu neuen, ungewohnten Erzähl- und Sichtweisen auf dem Theater zu gelangen.

Anlässlich seines 25-jährigen Bestehens lädt DANZA VOSOLVIA zum Silvesterball mit historischen Tänzen ein.

Er findet am 31. Dezember 2010 ab 19 Uhr im katholischen Jugendheim am Martinsberg in Oberwesel statt.

Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie/Ihr in festlicher Kleidung oder in historischen Kostümen kommen/kommt.

Das Programm besteht überwiegend aus geselligen Mitmachtänzen; die Tanzanleitung liegt bei Uwe Schlottermüller/Freiburg. Es spielen Musiker der Gruppe piedi ne(g)ri.

Chieko ONO graduated in Japan and now lives in Assisi and Guardea. She directed many Italian 15th century dances in Italy and around Europe, USA and Japan.
She will hold the 13th edition of the Assisi Dance course in June 2010.
Since 1993, she has been conducting the "Belreguardo" Historical Dance Company; she is also the Director of the Cultural Association Il Convivio. Her teaching activity is the outcome of a thorough comparative study on ancient Italian and Japanese dance.

A choice variety of English country dances from the seventeenth century with Anne Daye

The course will explore all the energy and grace of England's signature dance genre with a focus on the changes in dance steps and structure across time. Each dance will be set in its contemporary context with the steps, figures and style of the day, based on research in the dance and historical sources.

The Bunyan Meeting hall will open at 10:00 for a 10:30 start and the course will finish at 5:00 .

After lunch there will be a short break in the course when the DHDS AGM will be held.
