A choice variety of English country dances from the seventeenth century with Anne Daye

The course will explore all the energy and grace of England's signature dance genre with a focus on the changes in dance steps and structure across time. Each dance will be set in its contemporary context with the steps, figures and style of the day, based on research in the dance and historical sources.

The Bunyan Meeting hall will open at 10:00 for a 10:30 start and the course will finish at 5:00 .

After lunch there will be a short break in the course when the DHDS AGM will be held.

-Noviembre de 2010: 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25 y 26.
Diez sesiones en dos semanas seguidas de lunes a viernes, en horario de 14:30 a 17:30 h.

OBJETIVOS:
-Desarrollar la íntima relación que existe entre la música, el movimiento corporal y la danza.
-Fomentar la expresión corporal tanto en el profesor de danza como en el de música.
-Conocer los pasos básicos de las diferentes danzas antiguas y obtener un conocimiento real y vivencial de estas danzas para poder ser interpretadas en el instrumento musical.

Club "More precious than pearls" invite to Russian ball in a tradition of 19th century. Event will take place in Prague 30.10.10 at 18.00 at address Novomtstska radnice, Karlovo nam. 1/23, Praha 2.
Programme of event include dance, games, buffet.
Master of ceremonies is Maria Dmitrieva (dance teacher of "Dance and culture of nobility").
Master-classes will be 26.10.10 and 29.10.10 from 19.00 to 20.30 at address Sazavska 16, Praha 2.
Cost take part in ball and two master-classes is 200 Kc.
