Knight fair “Alexandria’s Carousel” in Petergof has already become a tradition to many citizens of St.-Petersburg. Bright court feasts, fairy-tale atmosphere, unforgettable beauty of the Petergof parks are all creating the unique scent of holiday that differs the festival from most other “living history” events of the city and suburbs. The 15th Annual Oxford Dance Symposium, ‘Living, Dancing, Travelling,

Dying: Dancers’ Lives in the Long 18th Century’, organised by Michael Burden and Jennifer Thorp, will take place on 16th & 17th April 2013 at Wolfson College, Linton Road, Oxford OX2 6UD, in connection with the Oxford Centre for Life Writing.

Stage de danse Baroque le samedi 6 avril de 16h à 19h (Studio So Schnell 15, rue Geoffroy l'Asnier 75004 Paris), et le dimanche 7 avril de 13h à 16h (Studio Biped 16, rue Geoffroy l'Asnier)
Nous travaillerons la Canarye de Madame la Dauphine par Mr Pécour.
Cette danse de bal est abordable à tous niveaux et nous permettra de porter une attention particulière aux bras et à la musicalité si spécifique de la canarye (6/8).
Nous entrerons dans le danse rapidement et pourrons profiter entièrement du plaisir de danser ensemble.

In diesem Workshop werden verschiedene barocke Tänze zur Musik aus der Barock-Oper Fairy Queen von Purcell erlernt. Die Choreographien stammen von Philippa Waite.
