Celebrating Jane Austen’s novel Persuasion published in December 1817

Tickets for the Ball include entrance, the dancing, entertainment and a delicious two course buffet. The tables seat ten and when purchasing tickets please tell us who you wish to sit near and if you are vegetarian or have a food allergy. Plaisir Courtois celebrates her 40th anniversary with a gala-ball. There is a possibility to practice in the afternoon. Dinner is included.

A Weekend dedicated to dance in 1818 in Lucca, Tuscany. 

On Friday 24th August 2018, from 9pm to 11pm, there will be a run-through of the choreography for the Grand Ball, in Palazzo Tucci in Lucca, in costumes from 1805 to 1818, held by Maestro Donald Francis from L'Atelier de Danse in Florence.

Jedes Mal, wenn sich im Frühjahr und Herbst die großen Türen zum Gemeindesaal in Connewitz für uns öffnen, beginnt wieder ein abwechslungsreicher Tanzabend in Leipzig. Die Musiker freuen sich über die Bühne, die Tänzer über blank poliertes Parkett und die Gäste über verschiedenste Tänze sowohl zum Zuschauen als auch zum Mitmachen.

Schon im Mittelalter feierte man in der Walpurgisnacht, denn der harte Winter lag hinter und ein Sommer voller Freuden vor einem. Ganz in dieser Tradition lädt "Bal Renaissance - Danse Médiévale" alle Tanzbegeisterten in den Festsaal des Alten Wirt zu Obermenzing, um mit ausgelassenen Tänzen und fröhlicher Musik gemeinsam den Frühling zu begrüßen.
Die Küche des Alten Wirt kredenzt dazu ein historisches Festmahl, wie es schon im Mittelalter den Gaumen erfreute.

Ein zwangloses Treffen für Tänzer aus dem Rheinland. Kein Ball, sondern ein gemeinsamer Tanzabend mit beliebten und auch weniger bekannten Tänzen aus der Renaissance und den English Country Dances.

Circolo Pisano della Società di Danza organizes anreconstruction of a 19th Cenntury grand Ball in the marvellious historical Villa Agostini della Seta di Corliano, close to Pisa.

Quadrilles, waltz, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dance and aglio.

The ball will take place in the elegant and charming main salon with ancient frescoes of Villa della Seta di Corliano.
