Historisches Tanzfest mit Okzitanis

Ein festlicher Abend mit Tänzen aus Mittelalter und Renaissance. Zum Tanz spielt das Duo Okzitanis, das auch alle Tänze fachkundig anleitet: Kreis-, Hecken- und Figuren-Tänze, von der Ausgelassenheit dörflicher Feste bis hin zur Pracht höfischer Bälle.

Our annual Pride & Prejudice Ball is so popular that for 2018 we have added a new afternoon tea dance at the beautiful Lion Ballroom in Leominster.  There will be a live band and caller at each event – so dress up in your Georgian finery and join us!  Light refreshments provided.

In 1682 bedenkt Lodewijk XIV “Les soirées d’appartements” in Versailles. Het paleis is net voltooid en biedt een magnifiek decor om zijn residerende hovelingen bezig te houden. De hovelingen komen er eten, gokken, kaarten, biljart spelen en dansen op composities van Lully en tijdgenoten.

Een mooie aanleiding om de Lullyzaal van de Gentse Opera om te toveren tot een “Appartement” waar edellieden kunnen dansen en de Redoute tot “Appartement” waar men zijn geld kan verliezen bij kaartspel en gokken.

If you haven’t already done so, you should secure your air tickets and accommodation as soon as possible. We recommend that you stay in or near to Valletta. Transport will be provided for any activities which do not take place in Valletta.
