Programme:

Friday: Dance workshop, dinner with wine tasting, guided visit of the palace with champagne in the library

Saturday: Horse show, carriage rides, afternoon tea in the Venetian Mirror Room, Grand Ball and Dinner

Sunday: Free programme, possibility of boat ride on lake Balaton

Dress code for day activities: 1750-1820 day attire

Jane Austen Festival Australia is an annual celebration in Canberra where living history enthusiasts from all over Australia come and indulge themselves in everything Georgian, Regency & Early Victorian - including dancing, music, food, games, archery, fencing, theatre, promenades, grand balls, talks, workshops, costumes and books. Since its inception in 2008 this little festival has blossomed into one of the most delightful weekend anyone could experience each April in an old and beautiful part of Canberra, the Federal capital of Australia.

The 18th Cracovia Danza Court Dance Festival will take place in Krakow between July 30th and August 6th. Held under the In the Far East title, this year’s edition will concentrate on Asia. As usual, the Festival will welcome an international circle of dancers who will take part in open-air performances, presentations and court dance workshops.

Seit 2007 schon findet jährlich ein großer Renaissanceball statt, zu dem vor allem, aber nicht nur, Mitglieder des internationalen Mittelaltervereins SCA kommen, um gemeinsam zu lernen und zu tanzen. Das „Kingdom of Drachenwald“ ist der europäische Ableger der SCA. Dieses Jahr findet diese mehrtägige Veranstaltung zum ersten Mal in Österreich statt, bei Melk zwischen Wien und Linz.

1515 : Léonard de Vinci arrive en France au Clos Lucé, à Amboise, où le « premier peintre, architecte et ingénieur » de François Ier y vivra et y travailera jusqu'en 1519. 

Le Château du Clos Lucé a confié au metteur en scène Didier Girauldon une création théâtrale inédite « la fête secrète » et à l’ensemble musical le Banquet du Roy dirigé par Olivier Gladhofer, l’organisation d’un Bal Renaissance pour retrouver l’ambiance des fastes d’Italie et plonger dans les coulisses des créations festives de Léonard de Vinci.

We would like to invite you to one of the greatest dancing events of the year in Moscow – the annual Festival of Historical Dance. It will take place from 20 to 27 August 2017.
It is going to be a fascinating week full of dance classes, dance evenings and the magnificent Grand Ball in one of the historic buildings in the centre of Moscow. 

Most of the classes will be conducted by Arnaud Degioanni, the head of the famous “Carnet de Bals” Historical Dance Association and the main teacher of the Festival.
