Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Tänze leicht bis mittel.

Zu Sang und Klang von Schalmei, Flöten, Citole, Fidel, live!  

Alle sind willkommen, mit oder ohne historisches Kleid.

The theme of 15` "Cracovia Danza" Court Dance Festival is music, which has been connected with dance since its beginnings. G. Dumanoir's work "Le Mariage de la Musique avec la Danse" ("The Marriage of Music and Dance") proves that the inseparable bound between those two arts has existed for many years. Masters of dance played on instruments and musicians performed the art of dance. Through the events of the "Cracovia Danza" Court Dance Festival devoted to this subject we desire to find this unique harmony of dance and music, nowadays so hard to achieve and less practiced than before.

This year’s central work for the La Pellegrina Baroque Summer School is Purcell's semi-opera King Arthur. King Arthur will be performed ‘semi-staged’ in the Vokův sál, Bechyně castle's splendid historic hall. King Arthur is about the early history of the British Empire, namely the kings Arthur and Oswald vying for the Grail. In the famous stammer aria cold Oswald melts for the beautiful Emmeline, the guardian of the Grail. When she makes clear that her heart already belongs to King Arthur, Oswald decides to abduct her.

Italy and dance - At the centre of our fourth Symposium is a passionate love story lasting many centuries - a theme which fascinated Barbara Sparti, one of the leading dance research­ers of the 20th century, throughout her life. We  have chosen to dedicate this Symposium to her memory.

Nous approfondirons les "fondamentaux" en travaillant sur les familles des
Pas de bourrée, Coupés de mouvement, des Contretemps et des Pas de
Gaillarde.
Nous les mettrons en pratique dans des séquences de chorégraphies du
répertoire baroque (La Furstemberg, Aimable Vainqueur).

Tänze zwischen 1790 und 1830 aus dem Deutschen Almanach -Deutsche Gesellschaftstänze -

Ein Almanach wurde anfangs nur als Kalender genutzt. Später kamen immer mehr und mehr Informationen dazu über Märkte, Postverkehr, Hoffeste und die letzte Mode.Oder aber der Almanach wurde vollgeschrieben mit Gedichten, Anekdoten u.a. Auch Musik zum musizieren zuhause und die letzten Modetänze kamen dazu.

figures de Quadrille A, de Collinet, 1819.

Nous poursuivrons le "Pas Quatre", d'après le Dance Book T.B. 1826. Danse
pour 4 danseurs.
