This year’s lecture will be part of a whole weekend of early dance in collaboration with the Commedia Festival at Sands Studio.

Am Vorabend zu „stillen Zeit“ durfte traditionell noch einmal tüchtig gegessen, getanzt und gefeiert werden. Diese Tradition des „Kathreintanzes“ pflegen wir am 25. November 2022. Wir laden Sie herzlich zu unserem Tanzabend ein. Unsere Tanzmeister erklären die Tänze, Rund- und Gassentänze von der Renaissance bis in die Zeit von Jane Austen. Danach tanzen wir sie gemeinsam zur Live-Musik unserer Musikgruppen und unserer Gäste von „Wild Violett“. Für das leibliche Wohl ist durch unser Imbissbuffet gesorgt. Über gewandete Gäste freuen wir uns natürlich sehr.

ESQUIVEL (Danza&Música) ilustrará la conferencia de su directora María José Ruiz Mayordomo sobre la pieza invitada del mes. "Il Ballarino", de Fabritio Caroso da Sarmoneta, editado en 1581, en el que se contienen las danzas y bailes cortesanos de obligado conocimieto, y que constituyó el principal tratado de Danza de su época para los territorios del imperio español.

The traditional Easter School of the Società di Danza this year will be in Tabiano (Pr), in the Parmesan hills.

Diesmal haben Hannelore und Andrea ein besonders buntes und reichhaltiges Bouquet aus Raritäten und Gustostückerl gebunden.
Im Almanach der Modetänze 1831 veröffentlichte Eduard Friedrich David Helmke eine Serie von Contredanses: La Muette, Le Gremilet, l’Orléanais, l’Erynge, Le Tricotet. Wie sein Kollege Häcker benennt er die Schritte zu den Touren, und fügt zusätzlich malerische Attituden bei. Vorangestellt ist eine Allemande in der reizvollen Konstellation von vier Herren und acht Damen in 15 Figuren!

Friday: Dance workshop, dinner with wine tasting, guided visit of the palace with champagne in the library

Saturday: Horse show, carriage rides, afternoon tea in the Venetian Mirror Room, Grand Ball and Dinner

Sunday: Free programme, possibility of boat ride on lake Balaton

Dress code for day activities: 1750-1820 day attire

Jane Austen Festival Australia is an annual celebration in Canberra where living history enthusiasts from all over Australia come and indulge themselves in everything Georgian, Regency & Early Victorian - including dancing, music, food, games, archery, fencing, theatre, promenades, grand balls, talks, workshops, costumes and books.
