Nous aborderons le quadrille français et ses figures et la valse 1er Empire.

A workshop with classes in historical dance (Baroque Dance, Baroque Dance Notation, and Renaissance Dance); English Country Dance; a fully staged production (Telemann’s opera, Der geduldige Socrates (1721); a special dance performance, “Sondershausen Sing-Ballett,” (1702) with the Festival Oboe Band; lectures; concerts; and more. Van Eyck's Fluyten Lust-hof „in Bewegung", die Duette Telemanns auf ihren Tanzcharakter, französische Gesten in der Musik auf jene des körperlichen Ausdrucks hin betrachtet - Neue Musik im Raum:

The 24th edition of the concert series Musica & Musica, organized by the Scuola Popolare di Musica di Testaccio, features in its section Suoni Nel Tempo a program of dance music with the Orchestra da Ballo de Il Teatro della Memoria, an ensemble led by Andrea Toschi and specialized in the performance – supported by research on the original arrangements – of the typical Salon Orchestra repertory.

In 1815 on the eve of the battle of Quatre Bras the Duchess of Richmond and the ladies of society Revérence held a grand ball that would be unparalleled history. All the allied commanders, diplomats and dignitaries are present. But are the rumours true? Are the troops summoned to march at sunrise to fight against Napoleon? Before the gentlemen say their last goodbyes, the ladies seize the opportunity to whirl across the ball room floor with their husbands, lovers and brothers once more. Only God knows who will return from the battlefield alive…

The traditional Summer School of Società di Danza will be held this year in Tabiano Terme (Parma), on the Parmesan hills.
Three days of holiday and vacation. Classes in the morning and the afternoon, dancing evening and free time to enjoy the spa.
We will study 19th century dance: waltz, quadrille, polka, mazurka and Scottish Country Dance.

In one of the most famous cities of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
In a beautiful natural environment, we will have the opportunity to spend a few days of community life, and to study more in-depth theoretical and practical aspects of our idea of 19th century social dance.
We study social dances of 19th Century tradition:
Waltz, Quadrilles, polka, mazurka and Scottish Country Dance.

Für alle Liebhaber des historischen Tanzes werden wir in der Schießstätte Allach in festlicher Athmosphäre die Tänze des Mittelalters und der Renaissance wieder aufleben lassen.
Von einfachen Reihen- und Kreistänzen bis hin zu anmutigen Figurentänzen - von der Ausgelassenheit dörflicher Feste bis hin zur Pracht höfischer Bälle.
Zum Tanz spielt das Duo „Okzitanis“, das zudem alle Tänze fachkundig anleitet - eine ideale Gelegenheit auch für interessierte Neulinge.

La contredanse est une forme collective de danse de bal qui implique de 8 à plusieurs dizaines de participants : basée sur les déplacements dans l’espace, elle ne requiert pas de technique particulière. Sa structure simple et répétitive permet beaucoup de convivialité.
