Founded in 1976 by Artistic Director Catherine Turocy in collaboration with Ann Jacoby, the New York Baroque Dance Company has been a leading force in the revival of 18th century ballet, challenging aesthetic conventions and bringing forgotten masterpieces to new audiences.

New York Historical Dance Company
This is a marvellous site! Here you can find all the major books and sources about early dance written by authors like Caroso, Negri, Feuillet etc. Lots of choreographies are available (no need any more for the paper copies!) It features over 200 dance manuals, which are downloadable and searchable. Seventy-five video clips are also part of the site.
