Historisches Tanzfest mit Okzitanis
Ein festlicher Abend mit Tänzen, Musik und Tafelfreuden aus Mittelalter und Früh-Renaissance. Zum Tanz lässt das Duo Okzitanis Dudelsack, Trommeln und Saiten erklingen und leitet auch alle Tänze kundig an. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht nötig und alle können gleich mittun.

From 18 to 26 July 2026, Kraków will once again host the ‘Cracovia Danza’ Court Dance Festival, an event that has been restoring dance to its historical context and contemporary relevance for over two decades. Performances, shows and educational events will take place in special venues: at Wawel, the Main Market Square and in Kraków’s courtyards – where the city’s architecture and history provide a natural backdrop for historical dance.

“Tornei d’Amore” Masterclass with Claudia Celi
Taking its inspiration from the theme of battle, a recurring theme in musical compositions of the time, the Masterclass features skirmishes and choreographed love tournaments between ladies and knights. The two sessions of the course, open to students of all levels, in addition to the technical study of steps, offer choreographies reconstructed based on the treatises of the dance masters of the 16th and early 17th centuries.

Wir tauchen in die faszinierende Welt der spanischen Tanzmusik des späten 16. und frühen 17. Jahrhunderts ein! In diesem Kurs widmen wir uns den extrovertierten und energiegeladenen Tänzen der Renaissance – von der Folia über den Canario und die Spagnoletta bis hin zu spanischen Pavanes, Gaillardes und frühen Chaconnes.
Ausgehend von historischen Tanzbeschreibungen entwickeln wir lebendige Choreografien im Stil der Zeit und gestalten daraus Balletti für kleine Tanzbesetzungen.
