I've achieved over half a century of English folk-dancing -- morris and maypole, festivals and folk groups, ceilidh bands and community events. I'm an accredited tutor with the Historical Dance Society and the Historical Dance Master for Barrington Court (National Trust) in Somerset. I run a programme of special events, including early dance and music, in this fine Tudor mansion, from September to January -- ask me for details.
I run classes on Sunday afternoons and Thursday evenings at four locations in Somerset and Dorset. Visitors are welcome, and I hope they will enjoy not only the dancing but also this beautiful part of England.
Professionally I direct "SameDifferenceDance" which helps disabled people to do amazing things with music. Photo shows the dragon (woven from willow) which I take into care homes every April to re-enact -- with much laughter -- the story of St George and the Dragon.
