Ana Yepes teaches Spanish baroque dance according to the following sources : Esquivel de Navarro, “Discursos sobre el Arte de Danzado”, Sevilla 1642, and Juan Antonio Jaque “El Libro de danzar”, XVIIth century

Her work on technique and interpretation, as well as the warm-up she proposes are also essential elements of her teaching.

Saturdays 2–6 pm

Skill and grace in Late Renaissance dance will be nurtured through steps and dances from Italian and French sources.

Ein typischer danse de bal, Choreographie: Louis-Guillaume Pécour (hrsg. Feuillet 1700), getanzt zu Musik aus den Airs pour Madame la Dauphine (1685) von Jean-Baptiste Lully.

In den Herbstferien habe ich für die „Verrückten“ unter Euch ein ganz besonderes Bonbon.
Vom Sonntag den 30.10. bis Freitag den 4.11. biete ich einen Intensivkurs für die Passacaille d’Armide.
Zu diesem Kurs sind 6-8 Teilnehmer zugelassen.
Diese Choreographie stellt wahrscheinlich den Höhepunkt der Bühnentänze vom Hofe Ludwig XIV. dar.
