Cracovia Danza Court Ballet invites you to the premiere of the show when Poland was baptized, illustrating dance and pantomime appearance forms of ceremony and etiquette of Western culture on the Slav court Mieszko I. Presentation will be shown as part of the Night of Cracovia Sacra, July 25, in the chair. 21, on the outdoor stage erected on the Krakow market. The presentation, prepared by Romana Agnel, specialist in the field of old dances and characteristic, founder and director of the Cracovia Danza Court Ballet, show times will be a breakthrough in the country Polan. The symbolic birth of the Polish State will be in the context of pre-Christian culture and creating a culture of court.
The performance will be shown elements of Slavic rites inspired by descriptions of the chronicles of Jan Dlugosz, as well as systems of Western courtly dances. Among the dancing the night Sobotkos there will be old Slavic deities whose appearance will refer to projects Sophia Stryjeńska. Contrast to the lively, spontaneous world of Slavs will courtiers came with princess Dobrawa from Prague, representing Western civilization, dancing in a hierarchical and formalized ceremonial court dances.
