Organization

The 19th century stages of Saturday afternoon and Sunday will be special.
They will focus on theory and practice of social dance of 19th century. We will study dance and dance manuals reasoning and understanding dances from the sources and meantime understanding how the dance system we use is structured.

Liebe Tanzenthusiasten,

es ist wieder soweit! Auch in diesem Jahr wollen wir mit Euch den Herbst mit Playford-Tänzen begehen - wieder am ursprünglichen Ort, also auf der großen Tanzfläche im Bürgersaal des Rathauses Zehlendorf.

Mitmachen kann jeder, der Spaß an Kreis- und Gassentänzen aus dem England des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts hat!
Bitte leichtes Schuhwerk mitbringen! Einen Tanzpartner mitzubringen ist nicht erforderlich!

Ballet de la musique will be performed on stage for the first time in The Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice on Saturday, 25th October at 7 pm (it was presented before just once - as finale of Court Dance Festival in August). The day earlier there will be an open rehearsal for students. Court Ballet “Cracovia Danza” will be accompanied by Early Music Ensemble “Intrada”.

An diesem Abend entführt das Schloss Friedrichsfelde in die Zeit von Königin Luise und der englischen Schriftstellerin Jane Austen. Der Glanz und die Farbenpracht einer längst vergangenen Epoche werden neu erstrahlen.

Bei heiteren Tänzen des späten 18. und frühen 19. Jh. werden Sie an diesem Abend auf eine Zeitreise mitgenommen und eröffnen damit die diesjährige Ballsaison. Dieses einmalige Abenteuer beginnt bereits mit der Wahl Ihrer Kleidung und den passenden Accessoires.

Ana Yepes, dancer, choreographer and musician, teaches Baroque Dance according to the french sources of XVII e XVIII centuries by Pierre Rameau, Raoul-Auger Feuillet. Her work on technique and interpretation, as well as the warm-up she proposes are also essential elements of her teaching.
