Dancers from different countries are welcome to the Festival.

Every dance may be as 'solo', couple or group performance.

The Festival will take place in one beautiful XIXth century theatre in the main street of Madrid, Spain.

Barocker Maskenball für kleine Prinzessinnen und Prinzen

14:00 Uhr, Schloss Charlottenburg, Große Orangerie

Wer möchte nicht dabei sein, wenn im Königsschloss zum Ball geladen wird? Bevor der Zeremonienmeister den Tanz eröffnet, gibt es einen Kurzlehrgang in höfischen Tänzen zur Zeit des Barock. Dabei erfährt man, welche Tanzschritte vor dreihundert Jahren bei den Prinzen und Prinzessinnen so üblich waren. Wer in seinem Kostüm dem prächtigen Ambiente nicht nachstehen möchte, kann sich schminken lassen und einen passenden Fächer oder auch eine Maske selbst gestalten.

The Société des Redoutes will perform dances from the 18th and 19th century and guide you through the evening with contredanses, waltzes, quadrilles, mazurka’s and other social dances from the same centuries.
