Italy and dance - At the centre of our fourth Symposium is a passionate love story lasting many centuries - a theme which fascinated Barbara Sparti, one of the leading dance researchers of the 20th century, throughout her life. We have chosen to dedicate this Symposium to her memory.
Tänze zwischen 1790 und 1830 aus dem Deutschen Almanach -Deutsche Gesellschaftstänze -
Ein Almanach wurde anfangs nur als Kalender genutzt. Später kamen immer mehr und mehr Informationen dazu über Märkte, Postverkehr, Hoffeste und die letzte Mode.Oder aber der Almanach wurde vollgeschrieben mit Gedichten, Anekdoten u.a. Auch Musik zum musizieren zuhause und die letzten Modetänze kamen dazu.
