TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE IN FESTIVAL PAWANA 2010
(JULY 4TH – JULY 9TH 2010)

1. The workshops are integral part of Festival and contain 2 independent blocks. The number of vacancies in each group has been limited to ~ 30 people. The minimum is 12 people.
a) XV and XVI century Italian dances (intermediate and advanced).
b) XIX century

Tanzworkshop - BallTanz III – Quadrille Les Lanciers
Zwei Quadrillen beherrschten über zwei Jahrhunderte die Ballsäle - die Francaise und die QUADRILLE LES LANCIERS

Quadrille Les Lanciers - in ihrer Schweizer Fassung von 1897 mit einem Einblick auf ihre Ursprungsgestalt in Duval’s Second Set aus Dublin & London von 1819 sowie ihre Variationen aus Deutschland, Frankreich und Nordamerika im 19. Jahrhundert und ihre heutige Fassung, getanzt am Dänischen Königshaus .

Wir wollen mit Euch feiern! Schön wäre es, wenn Ihr schon als Prinz oder Prinzessin erscheint, damit unser Fest schnell beginnen kann. Im königlichen Ambiente könnt Ihr Fechtunterricht nehmen, den Geschichten unserer Hofdamen lauschen, höfische Tänze erlernen, im Märchenzelt verweilen und die passende Maske zum Fest anfertigen.

A weekend workshop on Contra dances taken from H.G.O. Washburn, Ball Room Manual (Boston 1863) and Elias Howe, Complete Ballroom Handbook (Boston, New York, Philadelphia 1858) and taught by Paolo Di Segni.

At the end of the workshop there will be a demonstration and a Thé dansant, both with live music.
