A weekend workshop on Contra dances taken from H.G.O. Washburn, Ball Room Manual (Boston 1863) and Elias Howe, Complete Ballroom Handbook (Boston, New York, Philadelphia 1858) and taught by Paolo Di Segni.

At the end of the workshop there will be a demonstration and a Thé dansant, both with live music.

Im Jahre 1835 wurde zwischen Nürnberg und Fürth
mit der "Adler" die erste deutsche Eisenbahnlinie in Betrieb genommen.
Als Meilenstein der Industrialisierung steht dies
für den Siegeszug des Bürgertums während des 19. Jahrhunderts.
Dieses gestaltete und prägte den Stil, sowie die Mode der Epoche.

Rauschende Feste erfüllten Säle und Salons,
und bei beschwingten Tänzen und vergnüglichen Spielen
vertrieb man sich die Zeit.
Der "Grüne Baum" gibt uns den historisch passenden Rahmen
um einige heitere Stunden mit den Tanz und Spiel

Leieven Baert will teach contradances, baroque and XIX. Fabio Mollica wil teach XIX for beginners and for teachers.
