Workshop

In unserer losen Reihe von (Barock-)Tanzworkshops geht wieder unterhaltsam zu – keine barocke Armtechnik, keine komplexen Schrittfolgen! Stattdessen werden wir einen Nachmittag lang „Englische Landtänze“ aus dem 17., 18. oder 19. Jahrhundert von verschiedenem Schwierigkeitsgrad tanzen.

Für diesen Tanzworkshop ist Tanzerfahrung wünschenswert, aber keine Notwendigkeit. Bitte bequeme Kleidung und Gymnastikschuhe oder ähnliches mitbringen.
Ein Partner wird für die Anmeldung nicht benötigt!

Der Workshop findet von  14– 17:30 Uhr statt.

von 7-10 Juli 2014 auf dem Schloß in Rydzyn (Leszno, Großpolen) finden internationale Workshops für den Barocktanz für Mittel- und Fortgeschrittene statt, die durch Pierre Francios Dolle aus Paris durchgeführt werden.

In diesem Workshop wollen wir uns einmal nicht mit der Solo-Folia sondern mit dem wesentlich seltener gezeigten Duett beschäftigen. Die Ähnlichkeiten und Unterschiede sind für die Tänzer/innen interessant, die das Damensolo kennen, für alle anderen ist es einfach ein schöner Paartanz zu einer schönen Musik.

Grundkenntnisse im barocken Schrittrepertoire sind erforderlich.

The featured dance will be The Princess Anna (saraband and boree) 1716 by L’Abbé, notated by Pemberton. This will be the basis for exploring musicality and expression within the style and discussion of the differences between L’Abbé and Feuillet and Pecour.

The workshop is aimed at varied levels of experience in the technique. Edith works sympathetically with all dancers, and will adjust and vary the material to suit participants. In support of this approach, music will be provided by Mollie Koenisberger on violin.

Etude des pas de base pour tous, du style d’après le Maître à danser, Pierre Rameau, 1725, des parcours, figures et symétries propres à la Belle Dance sur les musiques de danse, notamment de Haendel, et de Jean-Philippe Rameau, (année Rameau !).

Come and join the Nonsuch Dancers this summer for a fully residential dance course. Learning alongside our professional company of dancers and actors dressed in period costumes; you will dance circle dances, line dances, ballroom dances, processions and patterns – connecting to different historical periods, with music, art, costume and evening dances.

Tänze im Kreis und Schlängelreien, stets natürlich bewegt; zu Musik aus dem 13. Jh., auch vom Jakobsweg:

Rimpferei 'Sumer ist înkomen nû', Carole "C'est la gieus", Como poden, Quen a omagen. 

Keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Tänze leicht bis mittel.

Zu Sang und Klang von Schalmei, Flöten, Citole, Fidel, live!  

Alle sind willkommen, mit oder ohne historisches Kleid.
