Performance

‘Ballet about Coffee’to the music of J.S Bach falls within the tradition of ballets with fanciful and exotic subjects staged in the 17th and 18th centuries. Created on the basis of steps and figures of Baroque dance, as well as elements of the pantomime of the day, this humorous performance alludes to the fashion of drinking what was an original beverage at that time.

Chess, based on J. Kochanowski's peom, is a ballet and pantomime performance with music of the Polish, Italian and French Renaissance. The poem is presented to the audience through dance, pantomime and the spoken word. The ingenious and humorous text reveals the genuine feelings and emotions of the characters, while the vivid and dynamic plot provides ideal material for a performance based on Renaissance dance and pantomime movement.

Glowing Baroque festivities in the authentic baroque palace. Aperitif - Concert - Baroque banquet - …music played out, the second act of the evening is just beginning ... Accept invitation to an extraordinary Baroque table, under the artistic supervision by Franzis Wussin.

Images of dance can often be read as symbols of love and the expression of desire. This lecture examines themes of love, courtship and marriage in the National Gallery Collection and considers the role of art and dance in the courtly celebrations and rituals of the 15th and 16th centuries.

2ème cours : on travaille le fameux pas de menuet et on reprend "Le menuet d'Espagne", on peaufine,

on ajoute les révérences de début et fin de danse.....

A celebration of dance scholar José Sasportes on the occasion of his 75th birthday. During the event there will be an instrumental concert, Les Fleurs animées. Pagine musicali dai balletti italiani dell’Ottocento featuring music by some of the best known 19th century ballet composers – Cesare Pugni, Paolo Giorza, Peter Ludwig Hertel and Costantino Dall’Argine – performed on replicas of period instruments by Il Teatro della Memoria Ensemble: Giancarlo Ceccacci (violin), Federico Marincola (guitar), Angela Paletta (oboe), Andrea Toschi (bassoon and orchestration).
