The traditional Easter School of the Società di Danza this year will be in Castel San Pietro (Bo).

In a beautiful environment, we will have the opportunity to spend a few days of communuty life, and to study more in depth theoretical and practical aspects of 19 Century dance.

Circolo Pisano della Società di Danza organizes anreconstruction of a 19th Cenntury grand Ball in the marvellious historical Villa Agostini della Seta di Corliano, close to Pisa.

Quadrilles, waltz, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dance and aglio.

The ball will take place in the elegant and charming main salon with ancient frescoes of Villa della Seta di Corliano.

Christmas Ball

Società di Danza Firenze organizes a christmas 19th Century Grand  Ball in the beautiful Villa Viviani  

Waltzes, quadrills, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dances.

The ball will take place in the charming ancient salon of Villa Viviani.

The historical villa has also a beautiful italian garden with a scenographic view of the City  

The buffet will be served at the of the Ball.

In dieser Woche voll Tanz, Musik, Theater und Kreativität werden wir uns auf eine imaginäre Reise nach Italien begeben, dem Land der Sehnsucht für viele Generationen, lange bevor die „Grand Tour“ zum Bildungsideal junger Adliger und wohlhabender Bürger wurde.

Die Torgauer Renaissancetänzer tanzen seit 1996 in Torgau Gesellschaftstänze der Renaissance wie z.b. Branles (Arbeau) und Allemanden, Bassadanza (Domenico, Ebreo, Negri, Caroso), Tänze aus dem Grelsey-Manuskript und natürlich Playford, sowie auch andere historische und historisch angelehnte Tänze.

Neueinsteiger sind jederzeit herzlich willkommen.

Kosten pro Termin zu 100 Minuten 5 € pro Person - oder Vereinsmigliedschaft 60 € im Jahr.

Immer am ersten und dritten Donnerstag im Monat 20:00–21:45 Uhr.

“LEAD UP – Scottish Country Dances – 2nd edition”: masterclass with Giorgia De Luca

Open to students of any level, the workshop will feature social dances of the first half of the 19th century, reconstructed according to the manuals of the period, along with forms still in use today, underlining the elements of continuity.

Nachdem die Donnerschläge der Revolution in den Hintergrund getreten waren
und Napoleon sein beherrschendes Auge über Frankreich und das europäische Gefüge warf,
erhob sich Bayern als ein Königreich aus den Wirren der Geschichte.
In dieser Ära des scheinbaren Friedens fanden rauschende Feste
ihren Weg in prächtige Säle und elegant geschmückte Salons.
Beschwingte Tänze und vergnügliche Spiele dienten als Mittel,
die kostbare Zeit zu vertreiben, die zwischen den Kriegen und den Schlachten
so knapp bemessen war. Ein wahrer „Tanz auf dem Vulkan“,
