Hello - I'm Libby Curzon a.k.a Mrs Bennet!

I run Mrs Bennet's Ballroom as Regency dance classes in Surbiton and Clapham in SW London.
The classes are held on alternating Wedensdays between each venues. There is a summer break in August.

I organise tea dances on a Sunday afternoon, when costume is optional, one in January and one in July at the end of the summer term.

I also love Playford dances and occasionally add these into our repertoire as they are still popular at Regency Balls today. But in our class the dances are danced NOT walked!

My mission is to encourage a better standard of dance through regular dancing, and by having a social calendar with notice of other balls, we can practice the dances on the dance lists.  This encourages people to attend balls and enjoy their dancing in a social setting!

Hope to see you at Mrs Bennet's one day. In Surbiton we are only 17 minutes by fast train from Waterloo!  In Clpaham just 5 mins walk from Clapham Junction Station.
