Warm-up using principles of the Alexander Technique; Baroque dance technique class, reconstruct Entrée a deux from Campra's Aréthuse.

„Le Bal“ steht für den Gesellschaftstanz im frühen 17. Jahrhundert, der durch die französi­schen Tanzmeister geprägt ist. Ihre Kunst ist tonangebend für ganz Europa. Durch eine im süddeutschen Raum rund 400 Jahre nach ihrem Entstehen wieder aufgefundene französisch­sprachige Handschrift gewinnt das Bild der Tanzkultur jener Zeit deutliche Konturen.

aus der Reihe "Historische Tänze mit Stil und Charme" am 26. und 27. September in Basel

Es werden BallTänze des 19. Jahrhunderts in verschiedenen Formationsaufstellungen, die den europäischen und amerikanischen Tanzarchiven entnommen sind, zum Kennenlernen einstudiert.

Es handelt sich um Vintage dance mit Tänzen aus den Metropolen Wien, Paris, Dresden, London, Bosten - den grossen europäischen und nordamerikanischen Ballsälen des 19. Jahrhunderts

I'll be teaching a beginning-level baroque dance workshop in Cologne. Anyone with an interest in learning this fascinating style is welcome!
