Activities linked with the period of Jane Austen's life (Regency), which have been taking place in the Czech Republic since 2011. This includes mainly dance events such as dance workshops and balls, but also other social occasions (tea parties, picnics, literary evenings etc.). 

Classicist chateau surrounded by a landscaped park with an area of 21.5 hectares, which is one of the most valuable objects of historical greenery in Moravia, is linked with the aristocratic Silva-Tarouca. Art-loving friend of the count's family was a famous Czech painter Josef Manes, who Čechy pod Kosířem regularly visited and worked here from 1849 to 1870.

The Chateau was opened to the public for the very first time on 2 April 2016.

Firlitanz, die historische Tanz- und Musikgruppe aus Soest, entstand 2011, als eine große Gruppe der Soester Mittelalterfreunde einen Kontrapunkt zu den ansonsten vor allem von Militär und Lagerleben geprägten Aktivitäten setzen wollte. Später kam noch Musica Firlitanz hinzu, so dass die Tanzgruppe nicht mehr nur auf "Konservenmusik" angewiesen war.

Historical Dance Group Plaisir Courtois (in Groningen, The Netherlands) is an enthoustiastic society that maintains historical dances, performed at the European courts in former days. The society consists of a group of young people who practice historical dances from different periods: Renaissance, Baroque and Viennese period (19th century).
