¿Cómo podemos identificar y bailar la danza española del pasado? ¿Cómo puede la exploración experimental y performativa abordar la Danza Española de épocas pretéritas? ¿Cómo podemos apoyarnos en nuestra propia percepción corporal y en las fuentes históricas coreomusicales para identificar y recrear el patrimonio dancístico español?

“ El poeta soldado ” es una obra de Armonía Danza sobre D. Íñigo López de Mendoza, marqués de Santillana, quién agrupa en su figura todas las virtudes de caballero medieval que, aun siendo guerrero, es un hombre enamorado de la literatura y del arte,  mecenas y escritor, además de precursor del Renacimiento. Después de veinte años de estudio y divulgación de las danzas históricas, y con la máxima ilusión de ofrecer una experiencia inolvidable a través de su práctica y entendimiento, Sofia Grande funda junto al coreógrafo Marco Bendoni, la compañía de danza histórica Armonía Danza.

Workshop mit Tänzen des 15. Jahrhunderts
Für die einen ist es das Spätmittelalter, für die anderen die erwachende Frührenaissance, sicher ist aber das 15. Jahrhundert
eine bewegte und faszinierende Epoche, mit großem Prunk, Glanz und Veränderungen.
Das 15. Jahrhundert ist die erste Epoche aus der uns richtige Choreographien überliefert sind.
Aber eben nur einige wenige, die heute schon wieder in Vergessenheit geraten. Um Euch aber die Möglichkeit zu einem ausgelassenen Ball zu geben, habe ich mir erlaubt ein kunterbuntes Programm für Euch zusammenzustellen.

Richard Powers, bekannter Tanzlehrer und -historiker an der Stanford Universität, gibt sich die Ehre, für einen Tanz-Workshop nach Kassel zu kommen. Unter seiner Anleitung werden wir uns dem Cross Step Waltz, als auch seinen historischen Wurzeln widmen.

Waltzes, quadrills, polka and mazurkas, contredanse and marches, Scottish country dances.

The ball will take place in the charming ancient salon of Villa Gerini di Colonnata.

The historical villa has also a beautiful italian park with small lakes and ancient trees.
