Jane Austen hat Geburtstag! Wenn das kein Grund zum Feiern ist… Darum laden wir ein zu einem festlichen Ball mit fröhlichen Country Dances und Cotillions aus der Zeit um 1800. „Playford’s Pleasure“ unter der Leitung von Karin Feneberg ist auch wieder mit dabei und wird uns mit schwungvoller Livemusik begleiten. Pia Winkler wird den unterhaltsamen Teil des Ballprogramms in die Hand nehmen.

A French dancer, choreographer, and dance educator, currently residing in Nuremberg, where she teaches historical dance at the Hochschule für Musik. She is a graduate of the Sorbonne University in Paris (where she defended her master’s thesis on dance). Her interest in historical dance emerged during her studies, when she trained under S. Rousseau, A. Francalanci, and B. Massin. In France, she collaborated with renowned early dance companies, including 'Chapitre XVI' and 'La Bar Paré'.

An expert in the techniques and styles of Polish national dances and court dances. Since 2002, he has been the artistic director and choreographer of the award-winning Zespół Folklorystyczny "Wielkopolanie". He is a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Poznań (dance and stage movement; historical dance) as well as at the Ogólnokształcąca Szkoła Baletowa in Poznań (folk and character dance; historical dance). He also leads numerous workshops for dancers and musicians in his areas of expertise.

Bei diesem Kurs werden wir Tänze mit vier Tänzer/innen erarbeiten - in Verbin­dung zum letzten Renaissance­kurs "Ballo in terzo".

Blickten diese Tänze noch zurück zum "Quattro­cento", schauen die "Balli in quattro" eher in die Zukunft, hin zum "Seicento" und den frühen Countrydances.

Wenn die meisten Trio-Tänze bei Fabritio Caroso vorkommen, so findet sich die überwiegen­de Auswahl von Vierer-Tänzen bei Cesare Negri.
